About the Project

PETaL EMJMD is an innovative consortium based on the complementarity of the programme countries universities in terms of research and expertise to learn the most diverse ways to approach Early Childhood Education.
The key elements that PETaL combines (and which makes of it a unique programme) are %u2018toy and play%u2019, %u2018intercultural education%u2019 and %u2018early second language acquisition%u2019 in Early Childhood Education.

Description & Objetives

PETaL EMJMD is an innovative consortium based on the complementarity of the programme countries universities in terms of research and expertise that permeates the delivery of the programme, as well as on the cultural richness of partner institutions (both universities and non-universities across the world) to provide PETaL students with the necessary opportunities to experience the most diverse ways to approach Early Childhood Education (ECE).

CONSORTIUM PARTNERS

The University of C%uFFFDrdoba (UCO) is the coordinating institution of the PETaL programme. Internationalization plays a central role in the Strategic Plan of the University of Cordoba (UCO).
The Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon (IPL) is an institution with six Schools and two Superior Institutes in diversified and strategic priority areas of education, aiming for employability and national development. One of the six schools of Polytechnic Institute of Lisbon is the Lisbon School of Education (ESELx), located at Campus IPL %u2013 Benfica, created in 1985.
Marmara University (MU) is one of the leading institutions of higher education in Turkey. In addition to the ERASMUS Programme, MU has signed scientific and educational protocol agreements with 56 different universities from 25 countries. Included in these protocols are: student-academic staff exchange, education materials exchange, joint research programs, and conference meetings.
